Éric graduated from IMT Atlantique — one of France's leading engineering schools (formerly Télécom Bretagne / Sup Telecom). He spent several years working on wind energy projects with German and Italian partners, based in Italy.
In 2013, he made a different choice. He came to Marrakech — not on holiday, but to stay. He found a riad in the Dar El Bacha neighbourhood, a historic area of the medina 7 minutes from Jemaa El Fna. He restored it. He opened it.
