Booked one by one, treatments spread across the day and the group scatters; with the spa privatised, it is closed to every other guest for your session: the hammam, the two massage rooms, the patio pool and the rooftop jacuzzi are yours alone. The order of the afternoon is planned in advance (who is in the hammam, who is on the massage table, who is in the jacuzzi), you deal with a single person, Éric, and you pay a single price per person, with no supplement for the privatisation. That is what lets 6, 10 or 20 people enjoy the spa at the same time, in a house in the medina rather than in a large resort.
A hotel spa usually takes bookings one by one, and a public hammam in the medina is shared with everyone who walks in. A private riad spa for your group sits between the two: the warmth and the ritual of a real Moroccan hammam, and the privacy of a house that is yours for the afternoon. For a group with mixed ages or people who have never been to a hammam, that privacy is often what makes the difference.
A moment to share: spa, drinks and a meal at the riad
Booking the spa privately is not only about a series of treatments: it is a special time with friends, family or colleagues, in a house that is yours alone. Between two turns in the hammam you meet around the patio pool or on the rooftop, enjoy drinks during the spa, and raise a glass with the Toast Champagne (€15 per person) for a hen party or a birthday. The hammam: 4 people at a time
The traditional hammam at Riad Vendôme takes 4 people at a time for the steam bath, the black soap scrub and the ghassoul clay. While four are in the hammam, the others are having a massage in one of the two rooms (patio and rooftop), in the jacuzzi or in the patio pool. Example: for 10 people, allow about 4 hours: everyone goes through the hammam, has a one-hour massage, and the rest of the time is spent between the pool and the rooftop. Three at a time is also what keeps the hammam pleasant: enough room to lie on the warm marble, time for the therapist to scrub each person properly, and no feeling of a queue. Groups often go in with the people they feel most at ease with, friends together, couples together, parents with their children.
Real examples: 6, 10, 15 and 20 people
6 friends for a hen party: about 2 hours. Two turns in the hammam (four, then two), a one-hour massage each, then the rooftop jacuzzi at sunset, with our hen party spa and a Champagne toast if you wish.
10 people for a birthday: about 4 hours. Three turns in the hammam, a massage for everyone, the patio pool between two treatments, and lunch at the riad with the Day Pass Prestige to finish together.

How much does a group spa day in Marrakech cost? The same price per person
The price is worked out per person, with no supplement for the privatisation: a group pays the same price per person as a single guest; you simply multiply by the number of people. Four formulas, from the simplest to the full day:
- Hammam + 1-hour massage: €49 per person. Hammam, black soap scrub and a one-hour massage. For 10 people: €490.
- Hammam + 1-hour massage + pool: €54 per person. Access to the patio pool for the whole session.
- Hammam + 1-hour massage + pool + jacuzzi: €58 per person. With the rooftop jacuzzi heated to 36°C.

When? Time slots, same-day booking or booking ahead
The spa at Riad Vendôme is open every day from 9 am (09:00) to 9 pm (21:00), weekends included (hours adapted during Ramadan). The slot groups ask for most is the afternoon: the morning for the medina, then late afternoon on the rooftop at sunset. For 5 or 6 people, a same-day booking is possible with one hour's notice (see the spa today in Marrakech); for more than 8 people, book ahead: we take only one group per slot, which is what guarantees the privatisation.

Where? In the medina, 7 minutes on foot from Jemaa El Fna
The spa is at Riad Vendôme, in the Dar El Bacha district of the Marrakech medina, 100 metres from the Dar El Bacha palace and 7 minutes on foot from Jemaa El Fna square. You do not need to stay at the riad: the private spa is open to groups who are not staying with us. What is included, and what you can add
Included in the privatisation: exclusive use of the spa for your session, the traditional hammam with steam bath, black soap scrub and ghassoul clay, each person's one-hour massage (according to the formula chosen), towels and products. You only bring your swimwear. The order of the afternoon (who goes in when, start and finish times) is sent to you before the session.
To add, depending on the formula:
- The rooftop jacuzzi, heated to 36°C, with the view over the medina rooftops and the Atlas.
- The patio pool, in the shade of the riad walls, open for the whole session.
- Lunch or dinner at the riad, cooked by Chef Naima: tagines, couscous and Moroccan salads served in the patio or on the rooftop. Lunch is part of the Day Pass Prestige at €75 per person with the spa, the pool and the jacuzzi; dinner is quoted with Éric's proposal. Book it the day before.
- The Toast Champagne, a glass at €15 per person, for a hen party, a birthday or the end of a seminar.

Can 4 of us come to the spa?
Yes. With 4 people there is no need to privatise: you book your treatments on a slot and the hammam is done in one turn of four. The spa stays reserved for you during your slot, and a same-day booking is often possible with one hour's notice. Full privatisation starts at 6 people.
Can you take 15 or 20 people at the spa on the same day?
Yes, that is the maximum for the private spa. For 15 people, allow about 4 hours, with the hammam done in 4 turns of 4 people; for 20 people, about 5 hours, in 5 turns. The whole group is there at the same time: during the turns in the hammam, the others are having a massage, in the pool or in the jacuzzi. For these numbers, book ahead.

How much does a private spa for 8 or 10 people cost in Marrakech?

Does the privatisation cost more? Is there a group rate?

Can we book the spa privately for a family reunion with children?
Yes. Accompanied children enjoy the pool and the jacuzzi; hammam and massage are offered from age 5, with a shorter session and a gentler temperature. Tell us the number of adults and children and we adapt the order of the afternoon.
Can a group come at a precise time?

What is the best time of day for a group spa?
The afternoon is the slot groups ask for most: the morning to visit the medina, then the spa, and the end of the day on the rooftop at sunset. The spa is open every day from 9 am (09:00) to 9 pm (21:00); a morning slot is possible if you prefer.
How do the massages work for a group?

Can we combine the private spa with a cooking class?
